Designs Concepts
For the setting of the world view, our initial idea was to set the entire Bayou as an inescapable loop world. We followed this setting later. In this setting, the protagonist and even other NPCs are more or less trapped in the loop and cannot escape. There are also monsters wandering the Bayou, they are the ghosts of the people used to live there.

Stories & Versions
Version I & II
I first wrote two version of notes for our game. One is called the reality terror which present the monster as SCP-like creature that can cause real damage to the player. The other one is called the psychological terror which means that all the monsters that the player sees are his/her illusion based on his/her past trauma.
There are four types of notes that I created:

Version III
In the third version, based on the feedback and ideas of other team members, I added the setting of endless loop into the setting. At the same time, the tone of the story changed to psychological horror. In my new copy, I also made small puzzles for some age settings to highlight the horror atmosphere.
Besides, I created examples for different types of notes such as death report, diaries. etc. There are three personality for our character in this version, I also created different diary that the main character left in different tones.
This is where we set the endless loop as a main setting.
Version IV
In version four, all the notes and reports are being deleted. I blurred the serious situation happened in the Bayou. There are total 7 notes that wrote by the main character. In the note he will tell the player that there is something really terrible occurred in the Bayou and his family has a generation curse that can never get rid of. This time we catch the main theme of the narratives : As long as people cannot face their inner fears, they will remain stagnant.
Version V
I reworked my character based on the feedback I had collected. Now the character appears to be a bayou mourner, a man with no respect for life. At the same time, the seven previously written diaries were also revised.
At this point, my character become a disrespectful person to the Bayou but not the main character.
Version VI & VII
These two versions are the quick revisements based on rapid team feedbacks
Final
One of the team member combine and mix the all the notes together, and here comes the in game notes !
